Summer Seasonal Tree Tips

Summer can be a stressful time for trees due to the heat and possible droughts. Make sure you are monitoring them for signs of trouble.

While spring or fall are better times to plant, trees may be planted in summer as long as you are willing to water often.

Summer is the hottest and driest of the seasons. You will need to watch your trees more carefully, especially in times of drought. Keep a look out for wilting. It also may be a good idea to set up a watering system.

Summer fertilize, if needed, (we can test your soil if you notice stunted growth, discolored or dead leaves, or wilting) in early summer.
